DriveWealth, a global Brokerage-as-a-Service platform, and TrueMoney, a Southeast Asian fintech platform under Ascend Money, announced a strategic partnership to expand U.S. stock investing access to more than 30 million TrueMoney users.
The investment service is provided via Webull Securities (Thailand), a Thai SEC licensed broker platform integrated in the TrueMoney application.
TrueMoney customers will be able to invest in U.S. equities through the TrueMoney app, leveraging DriveWealth's brokerage infrastructure to access global markets.
Users can begin investing with as little as 30 baht through fractional shares and optional stock rewards on everyday purchases, with frictionless account onboarding.
DriveWealth CEO Naureen Hassan said that in many markets a single digital wallet becomes the primary gateway to financial services and wealth building opportunities.
The partnership will enable TrueMoney and Webull to offer underbanked and emerging investors a unified platform to manage payments and investments and build long-term wealth.
The partnership marks a significant expansion of DriveWealth's presence in Thailand, and TrueMoney has been a partner of Ant Group since 2016.
Knote: On a related note, Digitization of Wealth in India (and D2C advice in particular) is the hottest WealthTech opportunity globally, in my opinion.
