Serial fintech entrepreneur Bill Harris announced the launch of Evergreen.ai, an AI-powered financial advice application offering personalized strategies across finances, retirement, investments, and taxes.
The application is available immediately as an on-demand service through mobile and desktop browsers, with beta period registrants receiving complimentary access through January 1, 2028.
Harris cited survey data indicating that 73% of American adults do not use financial advisors, with many turning instead to general-purpose AI chatbots.
The platform provides calculation tools covering financial planning and cash flow projections, equity compensation, net worth tracking with linked accounts, home ownership analysis, retirement accounts, college savings, and tax optimization including tax-loss harvesting.
Evergreen.ai pairs specialized language models with deterministic calculation engines that perform the actual tax and financial computations, a distinction co-founder and CTO Bryan Godwin framed as combining probabilistic models for communication with deterministic software for calculation.
The platform uses encrypted data storage and Plaid for account linking, and states that user information is never sold or used to train public AI models.
Evergreen.ai operates as a service of Evergreen Wealth Advisors, an SEC-registered investment advisor acting as a fiduciary, and Harris previously served as CEO of PayPal and Intuit and founded Personal Capital, which reached $23 billion in managed client assets.
