Invesco launched Personalised Investor Engine (PIE), a behavioural intelligence platform technology designed to help banks and online investment providers convert savers into long-term investors.
The launch targets an estimated €10 trillion held in cash across Europe, which Invesco describes as one of the largest untapped customer activation opportunities in wealth management.
PIE integrates into existing customer journeys, supports any asset class or product, and is designed to work alongside an institution's proposition rather than replace it.
The platform profiles and segments users on traits such as confidence, composure, impulsivity, and financial comfort, with behavioural science expertise provided by Oxford Risk.
PIE delivers tailored nudges and dynamic framing at onboarding, funding, first investment, top-up, and withdrawal moments to address individual behavioural barriers.
Invesco is launching PIE in partnership with Zopa, a UK digital bank with a 1.5 million mass-affluent customer base.
The platform was informed by a 6,000-participant Invesco study which found that trust in institutions and self-confidence are distinct barriers, and that rising cash balances tend to deepen fear of loss.
