Monetary Metals, a Scottsdale, Arizona based gold yield marketplace, announced on September 22, 2026 that it raised $10.5 million in its latest equity financing round. The round drew participation from a mix of existing and new shareholders and brings the company's total capital raised since its 2012 founding to nearly $25 million.
The company operates a platform that lets gold owners earn a yield on their holdings by leasing gold to jewelers, refiners, mints and miners for inventory financing, a structure it calls gold fixed income. Monetary Metals says it has more than doubled gold deployment on the platform over the past year and was recently ranked in the top 8 percent of the 2026 Inc. 5000 list of the fastest growing private companies in the United States.
Founder and CEO Keith Weiner said the continued investor support reflects growing recognition that Monetary Metals created a new category of gold ownership and leads that category. The new capital will fund continued development of the Gold Yield Marketplace platform. For advisors and wealth managers, the raise underscores rising interest in yield generating structures built around physical gold, an asset traditionally held for diversification rather than income, as a potential complement to fixed income allocations.
