Broadridge Financial Solutions announced the expansion of its next-generation digital assets platform for wealth management firms into the U.S. market, building on its availability in Canada.
The platform gives U.S. broker-dealers, registered investment advisers, and wealth managers a unified operating model for offering cryptocurrencies and tokenized securities alongside traditional investments.
Anchorage Digital and Galaxy Digital are the platform's initial supporting partners, with tokenized securities issued and serviced through both new and established market infrastructure.
Integrated capabilities include support for cryptocurrencies and tokenized real-world assets via DLX, Broadridge's tokenization platform, plus integrated wallets and institutional-grade custody with omnibus and segregated structures.
The platform supports both advisor-led and self-directed wealth management models, integrates with existing books and records systems, and provides infrastructure for continuous digital asset market operations.
DLX's Distributed Ledger Repo solution is described as the world's largest institutional platform for settling tokenized real assets, tokenizing over $351 billion daily.
Tom Carey, Global Head of Product and Technology at Broadridge, said that digital assets are moving from the margins to the mainstream investment conversations for U.S. investors, advisors, and wealth managers.
Knote: The real win here would be seeing tokenized private assets right alongside your public assets. Crypto is interesting, but not the big win, especially after the Clarity Act failed its procedural vote this week.
