Schwab Advisor Services announced a partnership with Anthropic to deliver Claude for Financial Advisors to more than 16,000 registered investment advisors in its network.
Claude for Financial Advisors is designed to streamline advisor workflows across the day, from client meeting preparation to portfolio explanations.
The solution integrates with existing advisor technology platforms including CRM systems, custody services, portfolio reporting tools, financial planning software, and meeting management applications.
The offering provides authenticated access to Schwab Advisor Center directly within Claude, allowing advisors to adopt the tool without replacing their current technology stack.
Features include audit logs for administrative review and support for meeting preparation, financial plan updates, analytics, and client communication drafting.
Jon Beatty, head of Schwab Advisor Services, said AI is exponentially powering the ability of advisors to stand apart on client relationships, especially when integrated with workflows they have already built.
Schwab Advisor Services is currently the only RIA custodian offering integration with Claude for Financial Advisors, and Anthropic will present implementation details at Schwab IMPACT 2026.

Knote: While there is a chance it's less impressive than the headline, my bet is that Anthropic will win the Most Crowded Booth award at IMPACT in October.
