FutureVault, a provider of AI-powered digital vaults and document infrastructure for banking, financial services, and insurance, has launched FutureVault AI Agents, which execute multi-step document workflows across existing firm systems with built-in governance and human oversight.
Each agent owns a defined operational mandate, sequences the steps of a task, and escalates only the items that require human judgment, in contrast to AI tools that answer questions rather than execute work.
Agents in deployment or development cover document intake and filing, completeness and exception reporting, records and exam readiness, client data consistency, client profile assembly, critical date monitoring, document delivery with trusted access, and money movement coordination.
The company built the agent library against measured operational drag identified in firm assessments, including advisory firms manually entering one client record into seven or more systems and onboarding cycles that run three weeks.
In the client onboarding workflow, a CRM task triggers the agent to verify client records, obtain custodian statements, handle transfer forms, generate brokerage applications, route for signatures, compile compliance packages, and submit to custodians.
Agents must request permission before consequential actions, naming the action, folder, account, and decision rationale, with all actions logged to audit trails and document data retained within the firm's environment.
The AI Agent Builder lets enterprise teams create custom agents with their own mandates, checklists, connected systems, and approval thresholds, inheriting the same permission structure, escalation model, and audit trail, on a platform serving more than 50 enterprise customers and 924,000 live Client Vaults.
