Healthspan Wealth opened early access to an AI-supported advisory platform built on five patents that address how to move sensitive medical and financial information among advisors, families, and care teams without breaking compliance.
The company was founded in 2025 by Thomas C. West, Managing Senior Partner at Signature Estate & Investment Advisors, and Suzanne Schmitt, who previously led aging investor strategy at Fidelity.
The patents cover automated redaction and replacement of PHI and PII, a multi-agent architecture that carries context across the platform, role-aware prompting, visual household mapping that exposes unmet needs and held-away relationships, and question-based sequencing of decision-making journeys.
The platform offers more than 100 advisor-aligned, event-based, and functional journeys that convert life transitions, such as a client assuming caregiving for a parent, into step-by-step, repeatable, and auditable workflows.
Each journey prompts participants with role-appropriate next steps, gives advisors conversation topics covering finances, legal documents, long-term care plans, and lifestyle needs, and logs every step as a documented record of the advice process.
A journey builder lets advisory firms encode their existing processes in the same structured format so the whole practice can execute them consistently.
The platform is onboarding a limited number of advisor and firm partners, draws on a curated network of vetted healthcare, legal, and lifestyle providers, and the company has two additional patents pending.
