Modera Wealth Management, a fee-only firm overseeing $20 billion in assets under advisement for more than 6,300 clients, launched Mira, a proprietary agentic AI platform.
Mira reflects two years of development spanning operational and technology leadership, data restructuring, and the creation of data and AI governance.
The platform integrates data from Modera's wealth technology stack plus metadata and content from its document management system to act as a household-level system of record.
Modera cited 2025 Fidelity research finding that advisors spend an average of 41% of their time with clients and prospects.
President Joe McCuine positioned Mira as a way to return hours to advisors for client relationships, centers of influence, and asset gathering rather than as a replacement for advisor judgment.
Modera is establishing a working group to validate the data inside the platform and is building a technology layer that limits agent access to data the agents have been instructed to review.
Mira has been available firmwide since July 2026, is intended to support data consolidation for firms Modera acquires, and is powered in part through a partnership with OnTrade on digital agents for planning, proposals, and investment research.
