Docupace rebuilds its wealth operations platform around a universal client record
Docupace, a back-office software provider for wealth management enterprises, released Docupace Next 1.0, built on a new data architecture of reusable contact records that act as a universal client master across custodians, accounts, workflows, documents and connected systems.
Existing workflows, document history and compliance controls carry forward, so a platform that processed 17 million work items and opened 2.8 million accounts in 2025 can move to an AI-ready architecture without asking its 440,000 users to rebuild anything.
Knote: Assuming it is architected well (and I have no reason to believe it isn't) this could make for a strong foundation for launching all sorts of functionality.
Finloop supports the first tokenised note settled end to end in a regulated HKD stablecoin
Finloop, an AI-driven global wealth technology platform, supported the issuance of the first tokenised note product allowing subscription, redemption and interest payout in HKDAP, a regulated HKD stablecoin issued by Anchorpoint Financial and offered to professional investors.
Running a product's whole lifecycle through a licensed stablecoin — with Fosun advising the issuer and Anchorpoint holding one of the first HKMA stablecoin licences — is how regulated stablecoins move out of pilots and into institutional cash and collateral work.
Knote: Tokenization of investments one step closer.
Syntax wires its index engine directly into iRebal from Schwab Advisor Services
Syntax, a New York-based fintech, integrated its Syntax Direct index development and production engine with iRebal, Schwab's rebalancing platform, letting advisors build custom indices through single sign-on that flow into iRebal by API and serve as model portfolios.
Removing the manual handoff that has separated index design from portfolio implementation collapses direct indexing into one workflow, where personalization and tax management reach the individual account and the fractional share rather than stopping at the model.
ICE Connect Wealth lands inside TradePMR's Fusion platform
Intercontinental Exchange and TradePMR by Robinhood integrated the web-based version of ICE Connect Wealth into Fusion, TradePMR's advisor platform, adding portfolio and market data analysis and private-label fixed income trade support to the advisor workflow.
For the 400 RIA firms and more than $50 billion in assets on Fusion, the integration extends a relationship that already runs through ICE Bonds Private Label, though access sits behind a separate ICE agreement with its own entitlements and fees.
Knote: In my opinion, accessing fixed income analytics is becoming more important given Peak 65 this year.
Healthspan Wealth opens early access to a patented longevity advice platform
Healthspan Wealth, founded in 2025 by SEIA managing senior partner Thomas C. West and former Fidelity aging-investor strategy lead Suzanne Schmitt, opened early access to an AI-supported platform built on five patents governing how medical and financial information moves among advisors, families and care teams.
The patents sit on the compliance problem rather than the advice — automated PHI and PII redaction, role-aware prompting, household mapping that exposes held-away relationships — turning more than 100 life-transition journeys into a documented record of the advice process.
Sanctuary Wealth picks bQuest to run longevity planning across its Partner Firms
bQuest, an aging-care and longevity planning intelligence platform, was selected by Sanctuary Wealth to bring longevity planning and elder care coordination to its Partner Firms, pairing a life-stage readiness assessment with a vetted national provider network and a Care Concierge team.
The design lets advisors raise longevity in ordinary client reviews without becoming aging-care experts themselves, and Sanctuary frames it as a multi-generational retention play as assets pass to surviving spouses and the next generation.
Knote: Some advisors don't like longevity planning because it makes their financial plans look worse. This might be the year that changes that with Peak 65 in play.
RIA Edge panelists put organic growth ahead of the deal pipeline
Three RIA leaders speaking at RIA Edge Orange County said organic growth is the more valuable long-term focus even at firms with active acquisition strategies, with EP Wealth co-founder Brian Parker saying it ultimately determines a firm's value rather than asset or headcount metrics.
Bogart Wealth structures some offers at as much as 70% equity and only 30% cash to filter out sellers uninterested in long-term growth, a deal term that turns an acquirer's growth thesis into a screen rather than a hope.
Knote: Organic growth is the new inorganic growth.
SEC exam priorities fold AI into existing obligations, and rename it
The SEC Division of Examinations' fiscal 2027 priorities state that registrants increasingly use super intelligence — SI, the Division's new term for AI — across research, drafting, coding, client communications, advisory and portfolio management, and compliance surveillance.
Examinations will reach SI-related cyberattacks including deepfake social engineering, monitoring policies covering AML and Reg BI, and Regulation S-ID identity theft programs, while validating that AI use is as claimed has dropped off the list.
Knote: Unilaterally renaming "AI" as "SI" is as puzzling as it is unhelpful. People are confused enough already.
